Zoya: Payton & ILNP: MEGA

Swatch & Review

In writing up my last post I realized there was a ton of photo content to cover with just the galaxy manicure.  I had these swatch photos of my gorgeous base color, and while I didn't want to leave them out I also didn't want them to be ignored because of the more "exciting" pictures.  So here is my separate review post for Payton and MEGA!

First off, Payton.  It's gorgeous.  It's deep, it's glittery, it's luxurious, and it's extremely hard to capture on film SD card.  This has a sort of deep purple/burgundy/wine color that makes cameras go "Huh, wonder what if that should be more red or more blue.  Dunno.  I'll just keep going back and forth with every other photo."  It's a purple thing.  To my eyes it's a beautiful berry-toned purple.  Definitely a cool-toned color but it has a red quality, too.  It's hard to describe, but I love it.

It's filled with holographic microshards that glitter spectacularly, and the formula is easy to control.  I only needed 2 coats for full coverage.  I added topcoat because I always do, which enhanced its already smooth & shiny formula that much more.

Now, I♥NP's MEGA may have had a small role in this manicure, but it was an important one!  I polished the underside of my nails using 2 coats (no topcoat), and I was impressed by the coverage and by the fact that you could see the linear rainbow effect even on that tiny surface of nail.  It brought out the silver rainbow sparkles in Payton quite nicely.

Sadly it's really hard to capture linear rainbow under your nails, but that means I'll just have to wear it again soon.  Not like I wouldn't... it's summer here - holo season, people! =)
